Wednesday: 9/15 - Back to School Night!
IC: We will begin with a Reading Quiz over chapters 12-14 of The Catcher in the Rye. We'll discuss the reading. Next, we'll do a close reading of the poem "On My First Son" by Ben Jonson and continue our discussion of the elements of poetic analysis. We'll end class with a brief vocabulary review.
